Georgia hasn’t missed a bowl game in 21 years

LSU hasn’t missed a bowl game in 18 years.

Congratulations to the Dawgs and Fighting Tigers for their continued success and consistency and allowing our conference to stay uncontested yearly.

Congratulations, you just gave yourselves a participation trophy. We authorize sewing on a blue star onto your jersey sleeve if you like.

Why are you angry about consistency?

Quiet down now.

Alabama fans like to pretend the only years they have had football teams were the Bryant and Saban eras. They don’t like to acknowledge how truly mediocre they have been in between those eras.

Are you serious?

I guess 1992 just didn't happen in your universe.

Yeah, Alabama fans love to ignore '92 and '99.

LSU fans don't acknowledge anything that happened in the 90s.

Don’t worry. Saban will probably retire soon and Stallings might be available to come back.

Mediocre in between bryant and saban
Meh, sometimes...but
Frank Thomas-national title
Wallace wade- national title
Red drew- national title
Paul Bryant- national title
Gene Stallings- national title
Nick Saban-national title

And a few of these won it multiple times. Perkins sucked. One of bryants few bad decisions was thinking that clown would win at Bama and curry was all talk no walk. Dubose sucked. Shula had probation. Other than those we've won a lot.

So you admit you're a fricking idiot.

Nice.

I didn't care much about bowl games until moving to Colorado where going to a bowl game is a sign of a successful season. That just goes to show that in some places, expectations are very low.

That said, bowls are pointless when you've got teams with losing records going to the Top Ramen Bowl to play in front of dozens of people.

I agree. But getting many wins every season is a sign of consistency.

Currently, LSU and UGA are the top consistent programs in the SEC.

I acknowledge that the #1 ranked Florida Gators led by the OBC lost in Tiger Stadium against a Dinardo led, Herb Tyler team.

The OP is talking about the longest active streaks for bowl game appearances.

Why are Bama fans coming out of the roach motels to dispute it and bring praise to their team that doesn’t deserve it?

I’m confused.

This thread has nothing to do with Bama.

Which is a shitty metric.

All I was doing was providing meaningful statistics. Why focus on a short (read: cherry picked) timeframe when you can focus on the whole shebang?

Then take that horseshite over to the Tiger Rant if you want a shite-eating little echo chamber.

Lsu fans coming up with anything they can to maintain the illusion of relevance in their own heads

It can be like watching the message board equivalent of autofellatio. And they say we're bad.

*Posts a self-congratulatory little circle jerk thread
*Complains when people are unimpressed with the little stat they came up with.
*Tells people [the thread] isn't about them.
*Posts it on the fricking SEC Rant.

Why? It states the condition of two programs as they are TODAY.

The short time frame is relevant to today. As both programs, as they are today, have not missed a bowl game in successive years.

One 21 years. The other 18 years. Revert back to the OP, if you need a refresher...

Nah. This thread relates to TWO SEC programs with historic runs.
