Has Gene Wojciechowski ever been to Tuscaloosa?? Our campus is beautiful and Bryant Denny is one of the best stadiums in the country. I could care less where he ranks BAMA overall but his statements are inaccurate.

The University of Alabama campus in spring time is one of the most gorgeous sights I have ever beheld. It may not be the most beautiful campus in America but it definitely is in the Top 25.

And then Mack Brown frets where this sense of entitlement among his players comes from?

It comes from YOU, Mack. And Dodds. And Powers.

It creates a school full of athletes who are told during the recruiting process that, "You're Texas Good, that's why we want you.....and not that kid who goes to A&M or wherever." And they're helped along by the Bobby Burtons and Staples of the press who laud every tu athlete as the best of the best of the best.

A&M's resurrected football program? That's your fault. You could have prevented it.

Why this statement is completely ignorant.

TEXAS WON 2 Big 12 Championships and a national Championship, and went to a MNC game.

A&M resurrected? Are you frickin kidding me? You were in the Cotton Bowl in 2010....why wasn't your program "resurrected" then? Because you had 1 more loss and 1 less win?

So because you have a Heisman trophy winner now? Oh yeah, so did Baylor LAST YEAR.

Because you're in the SEC now? Explain to me how that works because missouri is in the SEC and they aren't "Resurrected".

STFU, you are such an idiot its unbearable. How typical of an aggie to cry about UT.

A&M fans are the only ones who deny that UT is a top job in the country.

Even Alabama, LSU and SEC fans know its a great job.

Texas also doesn't own the state in recruiting anymore and with A&M in the SEC there is no legit signs that is going to change anytime soon.

Again, 100% MORON. GO BACK TO TEXAGS!!! We don't want your stupid crybaby bullshite ignorant mind.

I think tradition is bogus, just look at the Dolphins. The Texans PACK their stadium and support their team, even when they sucked as much as the Dolphins who have easily a better history and more rich "tradition".

if lived in Miami I wouldnt spend my Sundays at that shitty stadium watching that shitty team either

I bet if the Texans were that bad people would still go. Hell, its not like their in last place, they technically can still make the playoffs and they just drafted a QB #1. They have a future to look forward to, plenty of reason for optimism, but lets face it, Miami is a tough sports city. Look at the Marlins and the Miami Hurricanes.

Just saw that Gene Wojciechowski graduated from Tennessee. Think that might have anything to do with his erroneous comments about BAMA's campus/stadium??

This guy is retarded for making a list that has both college and pro teams in the same list. Just about any college coach would leave any program for an NFL head job. It's impossible to compete with NFL $$$.

All true.

However, those teams aren't a hair on the Fins' asses in that city. When they win (it's just been such a long time that it doesn't seem so) The Stadium Formerly Known as Joe Robbie does fill up. I've seen it. One of the best atmospheres I've been to live was 1998 Monday night football Marino vs. Elway there.

Not sure if I buy LSU ahead of Florida. I would put Florida up with Bama and Texas. LSU would be closer to Georgia, depending on what a particular coach is looking for.

Here's why LSU is ahead of Florida:

*The TOP high-school recruiting state in the nation per capita.
*Top 5 Football Revenue Generation and Profit
Program in nation - fully self-sustained
*Cox Academic Center for Student Athletes - featured in US News & World Report, Wall Street Journal and NY Times as the prototype for all student-athlete centers in the country - lauded by numerous academic and scholarly associations, organizations, and publications.
*LSU has had the second-highest graduation rate for its football program (behind Vandy) the last 2 years at 76%.
*100,000 seat stadium ready in 2014
*Death Valley - simply the greatest football venue on the planet.
*Huge alumni, donor, sponsorship, fan support, waiting list for corporate and private box suites, tradition funds, etc.
*LSU Forever Campaign - Top 30 Public University Quality Thrust and Fund Raising Program
*#12 All-time in # of NCAA Victories
*#8 All-time in # of bowl appearances
*#9 All-time in # of bowl victories
*13 Straight winning seasons
*13 Straight bowl games (10-3)
*4 SEC Titles in last 10 years, 5 SECCG apprnces
*Tier I Public Insitution with many Top 10 academic programs and one of the top research
universities on this planet.
*Unsurpassed fan, alumni, and student spirit, entusiasm, tailgating is the greatest on this planet.

AND THE """TOP""" REASON WHY LSU IS ONE OF THE TOP COACHING JOBS IN ANY LEVEL OF FOOTBALL ??............drumroll.....

One need only have been on campus all day and inside Death Valley on the night of November 3 to understand why.

Well to be fair Florida is VERY GOOD, but they have to split that talent with Fla St and Miami, not to mention Bama cherry picks from there at times (See Trent Richardson, Amari Cooper). LSU gets 95% of the great Louisiana talent.

Trey, when you state that you "came away very let down......" that shoots down any creditiblty that you mite have had. It was not just LSU fans raving bout that game's atmosphere, nor just the national media. Your own fans here raved bout it as well. But the national media, print, tv, radio, all made note of what a great stadium TS was that nite. Stadium to stadium, certainly, BDS is a great college football stadium, as its renovations have been top flite. TS is old, being fixed up, but, for ME, as a comparision, the old Yankee Stadium had it way over the new one, simply because of its history.Same thing with TS. For ME. Why do bama fans have to not only rant bout how great they are at everything, but also, in the same breath, put down everyone else who dares to compete with them?

Wait a minute, Bama fans don't believe that bias could be pervasive and undermine someone's objectivity. That is why it is fine that a Bama man oversees the SEC bridge scheduling and a Bama man is the head SEC ref. Gene Woj going to UT has nothing to do with his opinion. The man is simply stating that Bama's stadium and campus are kinda second rate.

Figured

The owner of the Cleveland Browns is a big Tennessee alumn/booster too. Seems funny all this Saban to the Browns coming down right before the BCSNCG.
