Texas lost Thomas Johnson (WR) and RSJ (prob TE) in consecutive years

It looks like the decision was correct (headcase/issues )

maybe they feel the same way about RSJ (off the field issues with handler/family) or at least that is what I have read

im not trying to belittle you, that is for the walmart tshirt texas fans.

the cliffs of my argument was that you have some work to do to be elite. realistically you are behind about 10-12 other teams.

just because you are playing bama, florida, lsu etc doesn't mean you are suddenly on par with them historically. Ill say again you are poised for success.

thank you to westcoastag for being level headed.

why can you not respond logically and maturely, what have I said that was incorrect or non true?

I def didn't have any good news for the "sips"

is it too much to be rational or should I always expect "F***k you"

is it not Aggy? that is how I've seen it spelled online.

who is "daddy"

a few thoughts from a non biased fan:

Aggy is not one one of the premier programs. They are very hot right now. Lots of program momentum. Great 1st team, great roster and great recruiting classes for the next couple years lined up. You are poised to take back a lot of the ground Texas has.

Texas and the big 12 are reeling, yes. Both need to make changes before they begin to do irreparable damage to themselves.

the SEC has made wise 1st moves and their is still time for texas/Big 12 to make wise reactive moves. there are enough players and teams to keep Texas and the Big 12 fine, hopefully they do for competitive reasons.

I've already praised aggy, but what you claim on here is that you are now an "elite program" and "top 5 job". You are all drinking the cool aid. While I've already admitted you're definitely looking way up in the SEC, nothing has changed in the grand scheme of college football history.

one 11-2 or 10-3 season with a capital one bowl doesn't make you an elite program. maybe in the next ten years you win 2 MNCs with Sumlin, maybe you dont.

either way you cant say you are elite yet. you have years of mediocrity (for whatever reason, sanctions, army school, etc) that you must consider before you claim to be elite.

IMHO the elite programs are (probably forgetting at least one team)

USC
tOSU
Michigan
Alabama
Nebraska
Texas
Oklahoma
Florida
Alabama

the next level would include
LSU
Tennessee
Penn State
Georgia

but probably not TAMU. TAMU has a career winning percentage of .598.

cliffs: look at history and the numbers. You are not elite. You have all the potential in the world right now (freshman heisman winner, great coach, great OC, great recruiting base, best conference, possible new stadium, etc) but none of those mean you are elite. wins, trophies, conference championships and accolades make you elite, which you are light on. Again this could all change in 10-15 years, but until you've won them you aren't elite.

Good luck TAMU
thanks for letting me on, Im not troll and am a regular poster on two other forums.
