No, no D'Vario Montgomery. There's a handful of WR's in the state of FL this year that are better and more polished. He's a 26-50 type player IMO.

What happened to him. He seems to be more of a USF kind of recruit now. He was a Bama, LSU, UF guy at the beginning of the spring. Whats going on with him?

Early PT is the biggest thing to D'Vario. Plus, he's a tweener TE/WR type, and Kent Taylor and Sean Price are better prospects in that same mold. FWIW, he couldn't commit to FSU or UF right now if he wanted to.

Is he not as high on LSU anymore? I remember hearing about him and he talked up LSU

He still talks about them in his interviews, but I'm not sure if they're really recruiting him hard tbh. If he wants to come in and "start" right away, LSU is probably not a place he will end up.

Not a FL recruit, but what happened with Deaysean Rippy? I read on 247 that him and UF have split ways after he was a silent

UF was only taking 2 WLB types in this class. Powell has been committed for a long time, and Phillips came into camp a week earlier and committed after being offered at Muschamp's camp. Rippy came in about a week later, and although he was a silent, Phillips went public before he did. Rippy had been in the cards a long time, and would never go public. He got beat to the punch going publicly, and it backfired on him for waiting and waiting. Just how it goes in recruiting.

I don't think Jefferson is the issue. I think the issue is who LSU has at WR in front of him.

Sorry to break this to you, but all 25 of these guys are silent Arkansas commits.

Deal with it.

Exactly. Speaking of that, the NCAA may be looking into FSU soon. According to a few FSU insiders.
