Everyone complaining about the false start and whatnot but LSU was weak and undisciplined and deserved to lose. There were maybe 5-10 plays well before OT they should have wrapped the game up.

Not always the case. Guy before him could have singled or walked. Tommy hits a single and maybe he gets around to 3rd. Tommy's had great contact but his slugging percentage is not great...

For sure. For one, the trust factor is gone and there's a bad precedent that is set by letting him come back. Second, while Paz showed promise and may turn out to be a very good player, surely there are other players we could find in the portal or even current committed to us that to step in and fill Paz's role the same, if not better.

For fun I randomly picked checked Miss State (10) and Arky's (9) roster and they have about the same amount of local state players as we (10) do.

I think it's just the way it is is today's college baseball landscape as most SEC schools can recruit nationwide.

Added Mason Braun who will be at Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod League. Will be good that he gets reps against quality opposition

edit: added Serna as well. He'll be at Y-D Red Sox in the Cape as well

Such a bummer. I know he's not shown much or had a lot of reps yet but hate to see them leaving like this. Granted we aren't sure what's going behind the scenes so always hard to determine whether it's a Jay or Clauss thing

I still think Schmidt and Evans would be better (statistics-wise) if our defense wasn't at t-ball level. Those guys from previous years had great defense which definitely helped their numbers slightly, not to take away from their dominance though.
