Only positive is it might keep the score down. We could run more and maybe chew more clock so bama might score less.

I'm not sure about starting him the rest of the season, but it would be nice for him to play at least half the game against Samford. I just hope we are good enough to allow that.

We aren't going to score a lot unless y'all turn the ball over.

Agree with that. There is no damn reason we should not be up by at least 24 by half against Samford and Frazier could play the entire second. If nothing else it would give bama something else to think about and game plan for if they saw Frazier running more of the offense and throwing.

The thing is Moseley hasnt done anuthing to be benched. Our OL cant block LSU or UGA so thats not his fault. He won us the UF game and will go 3-3 this season.

Throwing a qb out there when he isn't ready isn't necessarily better for development than getting no experience at all. Just ask Jarret Lee.

Our LBs can't shed blocks and the d-line doesn't get much push to upset most run plays. Our only run D is Eltoro flying in like a crazy person and diving at the feet of the runner. If he trips them up, we stop the run. If he doesn't, it is a 7 yard gain at worst.

Yeah, Mosely has not played poorly outside of a few bad decisions throwing into coverage. I think most believe we do need a dual threat qb eventually to make Gus's spread really work though.

Might as well, many folks in Sanford were saying that even Johnny Brantley (on one leg) looked better than Moseley.

I think he should have been playing more, and been given more of the playbook to work with. I also don't understand why they red-shirted the Fr OL. They will be the guys counted on next yr. to play and they have no experience.

Funny but true. Only problem is sometimes he forgets he has a role in pass defense as well. The 3rd TD UGA scored was awful as the bull just charged in at Murray and his responsibility just jogged on into the endzone to await the pass.

That is because Brantley had time to throw. Mosely got rattled when UGA started bringing the pressure and AU couldn't do anything to stop the pressure. Mosely deserves his share of the blame, but he didn't have much of a chance.

Hell yea, start him. Looking back, he should've redshirted.

We still tried to run a read option with moseley in, it failed miserably in the first quarter Saturday.

The same thing can be said about Brantley. We need to get the FR more playing time for next year.
It's sad for Brantley but he's just able to get it done so we might as well throw the other guys in there for the last 2 games.

I wonder how much of the offense Frazier has mastered. How many times have we run the QB keeper with Frazier? 100 times? It reminds me of Kodi Burns in 2008..everybody in the stadium knew what he was going to do when he got behind center.

he should have been starting all season imo. moseley and trotter are not long term solutions.

At the end of the AU game. He suggested starting Frazier the rest of the way to get him ready for next season. Not sure i agree but it was interesting non the less.
How many AU practices has Gary seen to make that suggestion?
