a tad better. yall at least were competing on the boards the chances i've gotten to watch.

Rebounds are not as important with this philosophy.

One day I will explain it in detail...

Mizzou fans were too damn dumb to understand it.

you tried to yesterday. that's fine you believe that but you wont convince me. you got trounced on the boards yesterday and it's why you lost.

You can't give up OFF 20 boards like you did to Cal, but that isn't the sole reason why they lost.

Greater emphasis is placed on defending than rebounding position to some it up.

Its a rebound/turnover balance.

The net of rebounds and turnovers

Arkansas: 14 offensive minus 10 turnovers minus Cal's 29 defensive = -25
California: 19 offensive minus 18 turnovers minus Ark's 18 defensive = -17

Arkansas ended 36 Cal possessions with forced turnovers and defensive rebounds. The Bears offset this damage with 19 offensive rebounds, which is a big number given their rate of misses.

California ended 39 Arkansas possessions with forced turnovers and defensive rebounds. The Hogs countered with 14 offensive rebounds, which was a low number vs. the total chances.

Greater emphasis is placed on defending than going to the boards leading to possible easy buckets via threes, there should be better positioning for long rebounds if the players are doing what they should.

You could have just said, I don't under stand the game, only know what ESPN commentators tell me, and that is the only way.

The more I watch games this season, the more I'm convinced Jordan Mickey is one of the best 5 freshmen this year.

To admit that rebounding is an important part of basketball will be to admit that Anderson isn't Jesus Christ. It's not happening. Not this year.

Been a while since I played and burned out on BB but when did it become an offensive foul when the defensive players feet aren't set? Did the rules change?
