St Louis
Memphis
Nashville
North Little Rock
Houston
Orlando
Birmingham

I know rule is where Final 4 is you have to host, but I think Birmingham and Memphis is possible (retro hosts) as NLR is just a pipe dream. Where are other spots?

I was posting from phone, sorry it posted early.

FED-EX Forum in Memphis would be ideal.

If the Final 4 is at the TWA/Edwards Dome it has to go there, since MU is now part of the equation.

Jacksonville has a very nice arena now and has hosted NCAA early rounds twice now I think.

The airport is very easy as well. The weather at that time of year is very mild.

Frick Orlando.

I agree with moving it around but I also like keeping it in Atlanta every 2 years. Maybe Atlanta for 2 years then moving it to Memphis.

I also like putting it in Houston ASAP to get the presence in Texas quicker.

I also think you move the baseball tourney around also.

If the Final 4 is at Reliant it has to be there by SEC rules.

Why not Memphis over Nasville? I don't really recall having great time in either place. I had decent time.

Nola is too dangerous now. Frick that.

I've only been to Memphis once but I liked Nashville way better for some reason. Isn't memphis dangerous too?

If you like theme parks then yes. I spent one miserable year living in Orlando and for multiple reasons I despise the place.

Traffic is bad. Roads are fricked up. People are strange because they are from every freaking where. It's dead hot there in the summer with no breeze. It's in the middle of the state and not on the water. I can go on and on. The theme parks are awesome if you like theme parks. Don't get me wrong. There are some very pretty areas. It just doesn't do it for me. That's just my opinion though.

I've also lived in Tampa and currently live in Jax. Give me Tampa or Jax any day.

I like the 5 year rotation between those cities, but I wish they'd stop putting the tournament in the Ga. Dome and the Superdome (just checked and they are using the NO Arena this year, which is good). The Ga. Dome looked barren last time the tourney was there, even though the crowds for some of the games were decent.

I lived in Orlando for 4 years and really liked it. However, that isn't really as relevant to this discussion. For hosting a basketball tournament, or anything else where you want people to travel there in mass, Orlando is better than both Tampa and Jacksonville, IMO.

If you've ever been to Pulaski county you would know why this is not an option.
