is the sudden love-fest that many LSU fans on this board have with Auburn. Bama losing is more important than LSU winning, to these posters.

It is only because AU shite the bed against them. If AU wins the IB, there will be more shite talked by LSU fans than anyone else towards Bama.
It will be another moral victory for them this season and get used to seeing this:
LSU>AUB>Bama
It is all they have to hang their pathetic little hopes and dreams on and it may get them to being the top ranked 3 loss team.

It is the nation has Bama fatigue ( which is, no doubt, a testament to their program at this point). In that regard a majority of the SEC will be pulling for Auburn in two weeks and probably the nation. I think LSU fans are pulling for Auburn simply because of the divorce with Saban is still fresh on their minds.

This is not new and it's not just on this board. This is how they are irl. They come up to me all the time at church or friends text me about every close game Bama has. Bama losing is equal to an LSU win. It's unbelievable.

Not true. I much prefer an LSU win over a Bama loss.
However, After moving to Alabama, I was asked by my new redneck neighbor, “who ya fur?”
Confused, I asked for clarification on his question.
“College football,” he explained.
I told him I was for LSU.
“No, between Alabama and Auburn,” he elaborated.
I told him that it would depend on how it affected my Tigers. Some years it would be one, some years the other. He told me I could not move into the state without declaring allegiance to one or the other.
I asked him, “well, who you fur?”
“Roll damn tide, m***********r!” Was his response.
“Well, I guess I’ll be for Auburn then,” I responded, “that way we can have a friendly rivalry over the fence.”
We never spoke again, but I’m sticking to the laws of the state of Alabama and pulling for Auburn, as I stated I would.
War damn eagle!!!
