Here's what I sent.....m BBA 2013-02-08 21:59:58
Dear Sirs,
Earlier this week your Head Football Coach sent this message on twitter: “If you have facts about a violation, send it to compliance@olemiss.edu. If not, please do not slander these young men or insult their family.”
I thought that was rather interesting. You see, I have not seen a single media outlet mention the possibility of Freeze and his coaching staff cheating. However, the internet message boards are practically melting down with incredulity at what is going on.
You see, I’ve been following recruiting for 30 years or so. There has NEVER been a program take off in recruiting like Ole Miss has this year. It is unheard of. Even when Nick Saban came to Alabama, his 2008 class did not pull multiple 5 Star players from out of different states who were already committed to other schools. Coach Saban had NFL experience AND a BCS championship at LSU.
Hugh Freeze is a brand new college coach with only 7 years of college coaching experience, and only 2 years as a head coach. What he DOES have is experience working Ed Orgeron.
RECRUITING DOESN’T WORK THIS WAY. And every SEC school knows that some funny business is going on in Oxford.
Now, for the meat of why I sent you this email.
With his ‘tweet’, Coach Freeze just legitimized the rumors by acknowledging there ARE accusations of recruiting improprieties. I’m sure you are aware of the Batesville Tire Man as he is called on message boards? The internet is awash with stories of recruiting violations committed in South Panola, and with recruits from all over the country. With just a cursory tour of investigating and asking questions, you can find tons of reports of shady dealings and outright violations by Ole Miss ‘interests’. If you want a good starting point, go interview Antonio Conner at South Panola and do some investigating into his recruitment.
Being the compliance personnel responsible for insuring that Ole Miss coaches AND boosters commit no recruiting violations, your coach has officially indicated there ARE allegations of NCAA recruiting violations against the Ole Miss football program.
Now, knowing that the NCAA just loves for institutions to cooperate with them, it would behoove you to begin SERIOUSLY investigating the rumors. The LAST thing the NCAA wants to see is a compliance department ignoring and/or covering up recruiting violations.
To further drive the import of this letter home, I am sending a copy of this email to the NCAA Enforcement Staff. So now, the NCAA Enforcement Staff knows that there are allegations of recruiting violations. And they know that YOU know.
I hope you have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Name withheld due to possible threats from Mr Dunlap.

Seems like a Bammer. Especially with the butthurt over Conner committing to Ole Miss. Kid picks Ole Miss over Bama.....automatically cheating. Maybe Saban should have recruited a little harder.

He's one of the hushpuppy eaters at tiderinsider. They put the ump in gump.

Some people never get it...I guess this one guy is going to finally get the ball rolling with the NCAA...

I was contemplating how you "legitimize" a rumor by acknowledging its existence...and then I remembered that I'm trying to understand the logic of a nutjob.

I remember he was one of the clowns repeatedly stating there was nothing to those Albert Means rumors and Alabama would just get a slap on the wrist.
He's Harvey Updyke without access to the poison, IMO.

Someone on some site did work out the mathmatic probablility of OM getting this class legitimately and it worked out to something like .0000000001% chance. So it is more likely that the Earth gets hit by an asteroid filled with leprichans and inhabited by Victoria's Secret models than it would be for OM to pull this class cleanly.

Y'all going to make Saban take back what he said about wanting to be Freezus' BFF and sending him recruits...

I would love to see this guy's data.
This would be like Crow Pie on deer antler spray.

Kind of like Chris Jones going to State....

That probability is pretty laughable. The idea that you can measure the probability of recruiting is silly in the first place, but if you could, it wouldn't be that ridiculously low.
Do I raise an eyebrow at Ole Miss pulling in this class? Sure. But it's at least PLAUSIBLE that having Nkemdiche's brother and Treadwell's friend started the dominoes falling.

bullshite. Indecisive high school minds are easy to track in terms of probability.

the really funny part is that OM's compliance is outsourced to a Law Firm who is deeply entrenched in OM "tradishun". They do this so nothing is out in the open in a FOI request as this only applies to public entities. A law firm doesn't have to turn over shite!
But seriously I used to faithfully go to Gateway Tires when and if I needed my car serviced or tire replaced. It hurt me deeply whan I found out it was owned by "Mr. Dunlop". I feel like I personally paid for at least one OM player myself just by going there.
