FSU QB Sean Maguire needs right foot surgery and is expected to be out 4 weeks, Jimbo Fisher said. Could be back by 2nd or 3rd game. #Noles
I don't think he was projected to start anyways, right?

No, that Francios kid is projected starter. But they have absolutely no depth of he gets hurt as well

We've got a really good pass rushing line. Haynes can get to the qb quickly and put a hurt on guys.
If that kid goes down, looks like cook will be running the Wild Indian.

FSU fans wanted Francios to start but it was an open competition and that was with an injured McGuire. This kid could be a stud but he did not have the starting job before this. Losing McGuire they lose their safety net after losing 2 QBs last year to EMCC. Sept 5th will be big game for him and how he plays could decide the game.

Pretty big to ask a rs fr to start game 1 against us. You're gonna see a shite ton of blitzing on passing downs early on.

So Ole Miss is going to lose to a backup QB? Damn

You assholes act like y'all are the Pittsburgh steelers or something. Go 9-3, cheating your arse off on the way to that record, and suddenly you think you're unbeatable.

Francois was their starter all along but now Ole Miss gets to gameplan for him and not McGuire

Who downvoted the OP? If this isn't relevant SEC news, nothing is.
(Response to comment under: Aside from the gigantic bama doofus, I respond to each post only with regard to the merit of that post. And, if I remember correctly, he's one of the only people who made an intelligent reply to my receiver height thread last night, responding to LSU receiver size with a picture of a monster Ole Miss receiver, which was quite valid.)

Because its PankReb. He's basically the texag7 for Ole Miss and has shitty takes.

Who said we were unbeatable? FSU losing a qb is relevant news.

We saw what happened last time FSU started a red shirt freshman. Francois is going to light up Ole Mi$$ and that weak arse secondary. Book it.

This makes a difference preparation wise ... No more preparing for McGuire at all... We can run just about every defensive rep with a QB spy because that's what we'll employ on Sept. 5th.

Let's hope he doesn't manzeil us. johnny was a one-man crew, even after he was injured by Kemdeechee.

Yep, this at least helps us prepare, if nothing else but sucks for McGuire.
Wish McGuire a speedy recovery though. I would have honestly rather faced him
