I guessing you know nothing about the actual situation

That case gets a bad rep when it comes to frivolous lawsuits.

They were serving coffee at nearly 200 degrees and admitted they knew that the coffee caused third-degree burns. They even admitted wasn't fit for consumption at the time of selling. Something like 700 people, including small children, got burned before someone finally sued.

Still does not matter at all legally.

Do you really believe that will matter? I mean, you can bring a lawsuit for just about anything. Google "Frivolous lawsuits" and see for yourself.

You act like just because something probably won't be won that it certainly won't happen, when there are tons of examples of frivolous and unfounded lawsuits that prove otherwise.

I said this
quote:

I think it’s more likely you will see a players coalition that sued any school that cancels football

People responded in kind:

quote:

They are student-athletes, as long as the schools honor the scholarship and provide a free education, they will uphold their end of the deal.
quote:

Dumbest thing I’ve read on this webpage in a while, and I had a conversation with altie the other night.

Schools are upholding scholarships. It’s not just a few schools cancelling, it’s entire conferences and it’s not even 100% certain even the SEC will pull off a season.

Now now now

quote:

BREAKING: Eight Nebraska football players are suing the Big Ten in the district court of Lancaster County, seeking to have the court invalidate league's decision to postpone the season.
Well well well. How do my nuts taste?
