This reminds me of the aftermath of an overtime Alabama win over Ole Miss when Shula was coach. Had a conversation with two good ol' Ole Miss fans who out of nowhere accused Bama of paying for Mitch Mustain. Imagine, an Ole Miss fan missing the irony of accusing anyone of cheating considering who their head coach was at the time.
The truth is that you can take all the faux new money hotty toddy Ole Miss fans on the Ole Miss campus on gameday and it wouldn't match the number of the same type Alabama fans at an Alabama game. The difference is that the Alabama fanbase is 4 times larger and includes many folks and is respresented by all of society. Therefore, you also have many "rednecks" added to the nicely dressed element of the gameday crowd.
In other words, the New York Yankees are bound to have more sidewalk fans than the Florida Marlins.
