It's okay to be jealous of Louisiana being from Mississippi. We all know how retarded our neighbor is.

Seems I remember a story about the James Meredith statue on the ole miss campus. An investigation? Sad.

Most of the hotels in Baton Rouge have murals behind the counter of Tiger Stadium, or the old capitol building, or the USS Kidd or something else cool from Baton Rouge.

The ones in Jackson have a bunch of African kids climbing all over a blown up Blackhawk helicopter.

A friendly correction: Louisiana was founded as a French colony before 1719, 1699 to be exact. New Orleans was founded in 1718. The town of Natchitoches was founded in 1714.
It was not founded as a penal colony.

The British knew what they were doing when they kicked those people out of Nova Scotia.

…and then their most intellectually disadvantaged children were sent to Mississippi to breed with savages to populate that area.
