With the old rule it’s fine. Current rule is you have to make full intention the slide directly into bag. It was pretty clear he is intentionally going out of his way to break up the play.

They’ve been this way Vitello’s entire career. I don’t think you can just go out and recruit “hot head baseball douchebag” but you can certainly develop a culture like that in your program
