Small ball can be difficult to watch but it does help manufacture runs against some better pitchers. Van Horn used to use it a lot some years ago and won many games with it.
I guess it’s like choosing layups over shooting threes.
Take what you can to win and it looks like it’s working for you.

I’ve seen it here and it was maddening, but there’s a method to the madness. We made it to Omaha playing that way and really it was probably the only way we could have gone that far.
I guess I’d call it ugly with big tits…..
