I'm sure some of the snottier ones have shown up, but at that point they had been pretty good with their comments. It was almost like an alternate universe

When LSU’s presence on the rant is calm, measured, and rational - that’s when you need to worry.

It means we’re happy with goings on behind the curtain.

LB is admittedly kind of an issue for us in the wake of this one, but the faith in Kelly and co is at an all-time high.

ETA: UGA has a lot of great contributors to this board.

Wrong. The issue is the barn collecting scumbags like they are trading cards. You have the best collection of absolute trash in the country.

To the best of my knowledge, we have never had an Ex-booster beaten to death in his home for getting us in trouble with the NCAA and out of fear that his legal troubles might cause him to rat us out to an even greater degree.

Logan Young says hello from the grave.

Is murder more of a scumbag move than hiring a hooker?

I like how you think your opinion is fact.

It's not.

What is fact? The barn has now hired two scumbags in the two major sports. They're not considered scumbags only by Bama fans. Everyone in their respective sports considers them trash.

Barners desperately deflecting to two decade old supposed crimes to avoid answering for their current decision to hire well known scumbags.

Never change barn.

“On April 11, 2006, Young was found dead in his home in Memphis.[4] Originally thought to be a homicide due to the large amount of blood found throughout the house, local police concluded that Young's death was accidental.[8] This conclusion however is not without controversy. According to Homicide Lt. Joe Scott in a press conference, Young tripped while carrying a salad and soft drink up a set of stairs and hit his head on an iron railing. The fall onto the railing opened a large gash across the top of Young's head, causing him to drop to the floor bleeding profusely. After lying on the floor for some time, Young got up and walked bleeding through several rooms of his house before ending up in his second-floor bedroom. According to Scott, Young walked past several telephones but didn't place an emergency call.

An appeal of the federal conviction on money laundering and conspiracy charges was pending when Young died.”

Are our scumbags worse than Mike Dubose who was screwing his secretary behind his wife's back while he was head coach at Bama. An affair the school administration was well aware of. Nasty bit of business that eventually ended up in an out of court settlement. Of course, Bama didn't fire him until 2 years later when he started losing football games.

LOL! I can do this all night.

That was an official statement that came out later (after Alabama's check cleared). The initial officers that spoke after seeing the inside of his house said it was one of the most violent and bloody crime scenes they had ever seen. And that's coming from Memphis police officers that have definitely seen some shite.

You keep using that phrase. Unless it means being comically naive and stupid it doesn't apply here.

Let's see some proof of this. Not that it matters in the slightest regarding the trash you folk keep hiring. I'm just curious how far I can drag you along.

The morning of April 11, a housekeeper arrived at 226 East Goodwyn St. for her typical Tuesday shift at Young's home. She noticed blood throughout the house, and when she peeked into Young's bedroom a bit before 9 a.m., she found him dead on the floor. In a 911 call released last week, the housekeeper, identified only as "Amy," said Young had been beaten to death.

Memphis police arrived within minutes, but they could not study the scene or handle objects in the house until receiving permission from Young's family or obtaining a warrant. Memphis Police public information officer Sgt. Vince Higgins said that process took much of Tuesday morning. In the interim, he said, officers observed the scene and began to draw conclusions.

Hearing what they were saying, and seeing TV crews and newspaper reporters gathering outside the home, Higgins decided to make a statement. He described Young's death as "brutal" and said police would need dental and fingerprint records to identify the body, which appeared to be the victim of a homicide.

That's from the Orlando Sentinel.

Very next paragraph:

"That was a mistake," Higgins said this past Thursday. "We probably gave out too much information too soon, and it was obviously inaccurate."

That they changed it to accidentally falling "UP" the stairs is hilarious.
