Toby Gerhart was indisputably better than Ingram that year, and the Heisman is awarded before the playoffs.
So..........you're wrong.
Where did I say Ingram was the best player in the nation? I said he was the best player on the best TEAM. And I know that it's awarded before the playoffs but by that time you will know if LSU makes the playoffs or not. Since they probably won't, LF will be finalist but he won't win.

And this has already been mentioned, Ingram went against an undefeated and defending National champion led by a former Heisman winner in Tebow in the SECCG with the entire nation watching.
Henry and the Bama D denied booger that opportunity in the last game most voters will watch booger play.
Henry is better, deal with it. Booger couldn't put up shite for yardage in Bama's offense. He is essentially the Next TRich and only looks good after running through holes as gaped as your arse and not being touched until 5 plus yards. And he quit last night. They don't give Heismans to quitters.

Hey Cracka, I have a serious question for you.
If I would agree to pay for a mental health evaluation by a certified therapist in your area, would you do it?
I would only ask that you would give them access to your post history here at tSECRANT. Do your family and friends (if you have any) and co-workers (at the roofing company) know how much you post here and how often LSU is on your mind?
I'm actually serious. I will pay for the evaluation and you and your family can decide if you need to follow-up and go into more intense LSU-obsession-therapy. You also have to agree to share the evaluation with us so that we can see if your posting habits are considered to be mentally/emotionally healthy.

Henry gets hurt, bama will still win 90% of their games.
One thing is for sure, after his 40 carries, he'll be another 1 and done NFL back.

Fournette and Henry are both outstanding backs, but comparing them directly is meaningless unless both play the same opposing defenses. As for me, I'll take Henry simply because he didn't strike a Heisman Pose in his freshman season - before accomplishing a thing.
I noticed during last night's game that LSU's defense is very small - like, FCS small. I think their coaching staff has recruited with HUNH/spread offenses in mind too much.

I think what we bama fans feel like is 7 out 10 thread started prior to game was tL5U dick riding LF as he would beat the whole team himself. Instead of giving some of the blame to LF you guys blame everyone else and downgrade DH as if LF is light years better...

That's Chavis for you.. he likes 210lb linebackers and 230lb DEs. The only exception is Kendall Beckwith at 250lbs..

If I were drafting and both on the board, I'd take LF.
Congrats on your win. We're moving on to Arky.

I disagree, but Henry is a BEAST

Disagree. Henry matters as much to Alabama as Fournette matters to LSU.

The stat about LF getting all the yards before contact says something about him that became evident yesterday. He's so much more of a downhill runner and Henry has so much better vision than people think they see on TV. Slowing the plays down Henry is being patient and hitting very small windows. Fournette couldn't find any windows but were they truly not there? Or maybe he just doesn't have Henry's vision. We know Bama's defense is better than LSU's but maybe LF is just not built for that kind of a game. He was frustrated because he wasn't 8 yards down field before someone hit him. Henry gets hit more in the backfield than anyone in CFB, evidenced by all the negative plays. I am beginning to believe that Fournette was simply OVER RATED. He's a good back just not "generational". On the other hand Henry broke a high school record that stood for 50 years. He's getting more 200+yard games a Bama than any other Bama back has in a generation. Henry is the definition of a "generational" running back.

Cannot argue with that after last night but make no mistake one game will not determine who will end up being better. Congrats on the win and Henry is a great back which we already new that, he definitely was the best back yesterday and probably put himself ahead of Fournett with that performance for Heisman. IMO

Yet here we are. Many classy Bama fans like you have already said as much.

LF handled the recruiting process and all that goes with it as well as any player I have ever seen with as much hype as he had. Don't you think? He has matured so much since that pose and he rarely does the BUGA sign anymore that I can tell. Though I do have to admit that I don't follow any pro, college or most-definitely highschool football players on social media. He has been nothing but humble and classy this year and everyone at LSU and in the state of La. is very proud of him.

True. This is why LSU fans are so angry at the former DC and D-line coach. Ed Orgeron and Steele will need a few years to change that. No doubt.

Fournette is a very classy young man. No arguments with you there. And that's nice to see considering a couple of thugs that got a Heisman (think Cam and Jameis). LF would represent well.

If you gave Saban a choice of Fournette over Henry, he'd take Fournette in half a second. Would not hesitate. Would not feel bad about it. Fact. No doubt.
