Hurd is looking to switch to a TE/H-Back role and will have to sit out the entire 2017 season.

Delayed a potential NFL career by two years because he couldn't stand Lyle lmao

He's going to be like 24 years old when he enters the draft, with a shitload of wear and tear on his body and learning a new position on top of that.

I do not understand his thought process. Should've just trained for the combine imo. He would've put up impressive numbers with his size and skill set, enough to convince someone to draft him as a tight end.

Me either. Should have finished out the year at Tennessee then declared for the draft. Simple as that.

Couldn't happen to a nicer football program.

I'd do the same thing. Meyer has proven he gets players to the NFL. Butch gets them life championships. Which one will feed your family?

He will likely get a shot at a national championship ring

"I do not understand his thought process"

Simple. Butch Jones strawberry face screamed at him right after he embarrassingly fumbled going into the end zone vs UGA and Hurd reacted instead of thinking with a barrage of "frick you I fricking quit". At that point he'd already made his bed. Butch Jones is a psycho and let him kill his career. 2c

the tyhing is, he would actually GET to the NFL if he went to ohio satate. he wasn't doing shite if he stayed at Tennessee no matter how young he is. beding in the nfl at 24 is\ better than not being in the nfl at 22.
