I've never heard of a guy that kicked off the team say, "man, the head coach and staff really had it together and it was because of my ineptitude and complete boneheaded attitude that ruined my playing career. It is all my fault".
All that being said, I think the Butch experiment at UT went about was well as the ground zero monkey in Outbreak.
