Think deeper.
It's a startling statement that draws a straight line to the real question.. where do you draw the line of forgiveness as it relates to mental health? The bases for the original statement is that they are ill and unconscious of their actions. When does the crime exceed and/or negate that empathy?
Side note, compare Gilbert and Hitler's rap sheets @ the age of 21 and tell me who is the bigger problem?

He was just a frick up before he went to uga. Im sure for standard practice they gave him a hellcat, bottle of whiskey and a handful of oxycontin and he can't adjust to not having that. Prayers go out tonight to the non football players in Athens. One day it will be safe.
