Nope. You are thinking of Gatewood. Willis left with Stidham as the starter before Nix was ever on campus.

I am glad Bama doesn't have to play Freeze. Say what you will but that "hurry up and do something offense' gave Nick,
Kirby, Pruitt fits. Lost in 2014 and 2015 and they had Bama on the ropes at half in 2016. Jalen Hurts saved our azz in 2016.

Our football team played against Malik's team his senior year. Some of the coaches I work with in the spring were very surprised Auburn signed him as a QB at all.
I'm happy for him and it would be a great story to see him drafted...especially 1st round.

I have no doubt that Freeze has had that Nov 6th game circled since he got that job. Liberty went 10-1 last season, with their only loss being a 1 point loss to NC State. I was hoping that Freeze would have gotten another job offer after last season so we wouldn't have to face his offense. Our defense better be ready.

What do you expect your fans reaction to be if yall lose that game? Not saying you will necessarily but its certainly possible. Does that make any of your fans turn a bit on Lane train given the Freeze dynamic?
