You're down on him because of Nick Marshall's touchdown pass at the end of the Iron Bowl. He was on the field. You hate that play.

That's a shame, but I think a lot of people felt like he could be moved to guard during the transition into the NFL. He'll eventually wind up at LT, he's got too much potential not to.

Name another team who has had more players drafted in the first round and currently starting the NFL since 2008.

I'll wait. Good luck.

Are you counting players that had a start or are currently listed as starters? Go ahead and show me the numbers and the runner up collleges.

In the mean time:

Colleges with the most NFL players on a 2013 roster:

1. Miami 58
2. USC 58
3. LSU 58
4. OSU 51
5. UGA 50
6. CAL 49
7. FSU 47
8. TEX 45
9. ALA 44
10. UF 43
11. ORE 42
12. OU 42
13. UT 42
14. ND 40
15. PSU 40

27. AUB 33

And Auburn retained most of it's players for 2014... that means we can catch up next year since your decline is real and Malzahn is as Colin Cowherd said "I want all you Alabama fans... you're going to start to lose to Gus Malzahn. Next year, Auburn's going to be better than Alabama. Auburn is going to go into Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama."

You also conveniently left off the entire 2013 Draft class, which included two of the best rookie offensive linemen in the league - DJ Fluker and Chance Warmack, the offensive rookie of the year - Eddie Lacey, 13 game starter for the Jets - Dee Milliner, and Nico Johnson, who finished the season starting for the Chiefs.

Well redo the list and put them in. It's not like you have to pay for the paper around here.

Threads like these make me chuckle. If the player in question was a former UA player this thread would be 8 pages long filled with AU LSU and maybe Om and AM fans. Totally ripping the kid. Feels good being on the otherside

Yeah I know, it only happens with Bama players.

Oh wait, we are on page 8.

Plenty of discussion going on ITT, though. I think the point he was trying to make is that if it were a Bama player - there would be a joint effort to bash him by the rest of the SECr.

Yes and the point I was trying to make was that Bama isn't on a lonely Island being hated by everyone. Like everyone loves Auburn on here? Or LSU or etc, you get it.

I do hate the play happened. It was an illegal play as it was run, offensive pass interference on Jay Prosch. Marshall was not over the LOS and your offensive linemen were borderline downfield, but probably legal.

The play is intended to look like a run to draw the DB's up so you can throw over the top, which you did. There were 2 fouls on the play. Jay Prosch was 6 yards downfield run blocking CJ Mosley on the side of the field the pass was thrown, same thing as a pick but much more obvious, offensive pass interference.

The other foul was the takedown by Greg Robinson on the Bama Dlineman that had beaten him to the inside. Robinson is a notorious holder, also look at him on the miracle play vs UGA, nice sleeper hold.

I don't blame Gus for running a play like that, you do what you can get away with and if they won't call it,run it.

Why is it an Alabama fan starting this thread? Stop trolling.

I agree with your premise, but I am thinking it's a little payback.

It looks bad. Nothing accomplished over the last eight pages. I hate when they rip Trent and Ingram. Doesn't mean we do it to their players.

They will do it regardless. I don't rip players just because they are Aubs. I think Robinson is overrated,it remains to be seen if he is a bust or not.

In this very string I complimented Dee Ford and Tre Mason. You won't see many Barners complimenting any Alabama players.

As a Rams fan I hated the Robinson draft pick. I wanted Watkins @ 2 and then Martin with the 2nd pick. Martin can play anywhere and the Rams already have two potential LT's in Long/Saffold. Terrible draft pick if he just ends up a guard.

You are right, you don't even think about taking a guard that early. Now if he develops in a year or two into a solid tackle, OK. But I think he is overrated as I stated earlier.
