I would agree with the "most of the boosters" being full of it, but the Ford Foundation is serious. And $20M in one donation is more serious than a lot of boosters that are considered heavy hitters.

Hell I thought like 90% of the people associated with Ole Miss couldn't stand him and wanted him gone. Now that he was not renewed it's "OMGZHZFJWERJ! STAND WITH DANN!!!!!"

Where did you come up with the idea that the Ford Foundation is "serious?" Did you glean it from the article you posted or do you actually know?

I don't actually know. I have no details about the inside workings of a foundation, but I believe that they have threatened to pull the grant because thats what the story says.

Question, do you not think that the president of a foundation that controls the money telling a media outlet that "his foundation would not move forward without Jones at the helm of the university because the decision to fire him seemed to be motivated by issues other than Jones' job performance." is serious?
