Most of our money is hidden in cash with the bagmen.

So the totals don't include the SEC Network.

quote:

The SEC will soon reap a double benefit from being the nation's top football conference. The conference annually maxes out its BCS revenue (nearly $30 million this year) in addition to playing in some of the more valuable non-BCS bowls, like the Outback Bowl. Meanwhile its superior football play will soon attract the nation's richest TV deal for a college conference.

It also doesn't include the TV contracts that the B1G will negotiate in 2016.

So it's a worthless list full of inaccurate data. Got it.

Collectively schools of the SEC pay their head football coaches around $60,000,000/year. I'd wager pretty good money that the ledger would swing in the SEC's favor, all things considered.

Not to defend a him, but SEC was probably more profitable two years ago than it is now. Had UK winning basketball and had dominated football for 6 years. Plus you had LSU and MSU in the world series while USC was coming off back to back championships.

I don't get why it's so hard for most of y'all to look at the conferences objectively.

Nebraska has little or nothing to do with the money the BIG makes. Your state has a smaller population than Mississippi and your team has become as irrelevant or more irrelevant than the schools in Mississippi

Fair enough but the SEC Network $ is not represented. Each school is getting $26M in profits.

Blows away anything from 2013

Whatever makes you feel better. No one is even coming close to the new facilities the programs across the SEC are throwing up, so I'm not sure what the Big 10 members are doing with that money.

I will say Nebraska has excellent athletic facilities, albeit the baseball stadium and arena have more credit to partnering with the city and a minor league team
