aTm would be a great addition + their fans are just about as nuts as the Tiger fanx.

Thanks for the info. I would love to have the Aggies in the SEC. I believe both the Aggies and the conference would benefit. I remember the Aggie and LSU rivalry when Coach Mac was at LSU and then the renewed rivalry where you guys started owning us. Would be nice to get back in the thick of things.

I really hope this happens. Even if aTm struggles for a few years at first, I think they are the most natural fit out there in terms of expansion.

In a perfect world the SEC would add OU, Okie St, and aTm to the west, move AU to the East and add VT. The conference then would turn into a robot and beat the shite out of all the other conferences...

TCU would be better. At least they would bring a quality team into the SEC without the weird cult like A&M people.

I hoped you were only stupid on the poliboard. Seems you're just stupid everywhere.

if the sec expands it would seem they would want the texas market and ask A&M again.

TCU would be a nice add, would love to have some horned frogs

They will get tired of having to send their girls teams on expensive flights to southern New england, NYC-NJ, and Pennsylvania twice in winter. I cant see how the expense is worth it. Are they in a different league for non-football?

The Aggies ultimately decided against joining the SEC, but it became clear that they weren’t going to be told what to do by the University of Texas anymore.

Actually, the perception by most of the nation has been that aTm did exactly that (whatever Texas wanted them to do).

Get real.

Landing aTm in the SEC would be worth 5 times what we will have to pay them in return. Texas is the 2nd largest state in the nation and also is passionate about college football. We would get aTm viewers as well as UT fans because they will want to watch their rival play.

Be an easier win for the Tiggers every year against aTm. I can see your point!

You guys act like A&M has a choice in this matter? They don't.

The Aggies will do what we tell them to do.

If we want them to stay in the Big 12 and to watch us earn a lot more money, play for national titles and to beg for our scraps, that is exactly what will happen.

Also, I can't believe someone said:

without question. from a cultural and geographic standpoint, they are a great match for the SEC.

You are a great cultural match with this?!?:

The politics involved with the state of Texas makes me think it's unlikely A&M could come to the SEC without us having to take Baylor and Texas Tech. The same with OU and OK State.

If things go like they did last year, we may never play in another bowl game again.....who knows.

How does that change the fact that aggie is our lapdog?
