re: Alabama -10.5 versus LSU

I think your analysis today is right on. I don't think that Tua is better than Joe rather I think they're both about even. You're right about their 2 running backs though. And while we have an outstanding receiving corps, there's no denying Ababams's 2 receivers are exceptional. I think LSU's defense will get better over the next two games, hoping Aranda will have a game plan to be as aggressive as he did in the 4th quarter. Anyway the game's gotta be played to see who's right. Geaux Tigas!
Met Sam at practice Wed and had a chance to talk to him for a few minutes. During that time people were constantly coming by and asking questions and he never missed a beat. Hell of a nice guy and knew his way around!

The Tigers are living on the edge.

Tigers are on a roll. Great to see the young talented Tigers that WW has recruited. Hope they give Tennessee all they can handle but I don't think they'll stay with them. Sadly I pick Tennessee 91-75. Would be happy to be wrong!
Usually eat before going to the game. Solves the bad food served at the box. As for the box, it's average at best. Better stadiums around without the success or resources of the LSU baseball program. But it has nothing to do with going to the game or not! I don't go for the stadium, I go for the game!
Wanting to be wrong but here goes: To many missing important pieces.
LSU 30 - 38
I'm no coach and many of you on here can analyze the plays called and what did or didn't happen on every play. For me I enjoy the entertainment of the game.

But I think I can tell the differences in the attitude of a team. As Saban is the example of what most coaches would like to emulate, I don't see that same fire in Coach O and Steve E. Saban wants and gets 60 minutes of football whether the starting unit is in or the reserves or in. Surely that attitude is picked up by the players.

I'm sure there's more to the current play than just the attitude but for me it's a big issue. I wished we could have gotten more proven coaches at HC and OC but I supported both of them until this last game.

While I was never a star in the game, the philosophy was to play for 60 minutes whether it was 60 to 0 and no matter whether it was the starting unit or the reserves. Maybe it's just me? I'll just go back to reading! :blah:

Replay

Trouble with Direct TV so wasn't able to watch the game. When is a replay.
At least Maryland played for 60 min, regardless of the reasons!
Gotta remember that Borrow left Ohio St almost basically under the same type situation.
What in the world would the coaches learn about football from this site? Same goes for the players. Most everyone on this site is considered an unpaid expert.
Tiger stadium was once a fearsome place to play. The fans were absolutely nuts and fun to be there. Not so much anymore.

The saga of Stinkey!

Posted by #1lsufan on 10/10/16 at 7:35 am
When the battle began, Stinkey chose to be a coward and ran from the field of battle. The FL AD took control and called the shots. Nothing against the FL coach, a smart move on his part. Basically all LSU could do was sit on the sidelines and wait for the FL AD to make the final decision. Now Stinkey has his back against the wall and he's got to show he's got his balls back and you can bet his decision on playing the game will not benefit the Tigers! Might as well face it! :yack:
Team doesn't deserve booing. Miles another story. I say hold the booing for the sake of the players!
LSU 65
Kentucky 86

Wish it weren't so!
