Don't let the other fans (aka haters) on here try to convince you that Trooper and Luper are bad people.

LSU fans are trying to bring Troop down because we actually have somebody that can recruit the state of Louisiana now and we've plucked some of their best players from the state. LSU fans can't stand it, so they make up the convenient excuse that Trooper has to be paying these guys. Oh, and because he's black, wears a backwards hat and waves a towel around to get the crowd pumped, he's automatically a thug.

These two guys are some of the best in the country at what they do, and anybody who says they wouldn't take them on their staff is lying. That, or you just don't want a good coaching staff for some reason.

But don't let these tools persuade you to believe that these guys are something that they're not. When you have success, especially in their own backyard, you're gonna get the haters that show their true colors. It's all part of the process.

I have heard he employs the practice of negatively recruiting against other schools while promising recruits the world if they come to his.
That doesn't sound like something that would happen in recruiting. Do you trust your source?

you are right the fact that he wears his hat backwards does turn a lot of people against him. But with all the stuff that has come out against you guys with rumors and such he is just another piece to the puzzle.

Personally I wouldn't want and LSU coach black or white with their hat on backwards during a game or while wearing a suit on the way to a game. But, that's just my opinion...if yall like him then who the hell cares what anyone else thinks

Yea, those quotes were brutal. I especially like the one that said that she nor her son were offered any money by an AU coach. So what's the point of the article Gayer??

Once again. See first statement. You are STILL concerned about what I think of your program.

They both are great recruiters. Our receivers are miles ahead of where they were during the Tubbs era. Luper seems to be a pretty good RB coach, but Eddie Gran is probably the best in the business, so we probably took a little step back in that department.

I wouldn't take either one of them - and I'm NOT lying. Trooper is an embarrassment to the SEC and the coaching profession, IMO. He gets paid enought to at lease dress and act like a professional.

And when parents and grandparents voice their concern or lack of respect for these coaches, regardless of what media outlet "reports" it to the public, there should be reason for concern.

Sounds like it. Sounds like you are very concerned about what I choose to use as avi's. Run along now.

It happens a lot apparently.

I heard something from a relative who is friends with a highschool coach in the Bham area. Admittedly, that makes it second hand info and all, but he seemed pretty sure about it.

^^This is true ^^ I think they are both good coaches. AU's receivers have made a tremendous improvement, And I agree about Gran as well.

I think it's great you think so much of Auburn that you have to use AU sigs and AU's opponents for avatars and that you come to AU threads and post about AU's obsession with bammer. LOL idiot

And Tubs was here 10 years.

There is no comparison to be made between the play of our WR's now and our WR's under Tubs.

Some fans in the SEC (Bama) are satisfied with the coaches we have in place. I guess it's just gravy for us that we have good coaches, good recruiters and men that represent the school in a professional manner.

Oh, BTW. Congrats!
