The only reason I care is because I watch ESPN and different news medias. Notre Dame has been ranked preseason in the top 25 almost every year for the past 15 years and haven't won or accomplished a damn thing. Just imagine if they do win. I just don't think some of you get it. It's like the elections this past year....How many of you were ready to get the elections out of the way so we could finally talk about something else? If ND wins there would be no end.

It's like the Yankees or any other team with a national following. They'll get the press no matter what. It shouldn't bother anybody.

I disagree with this. I think UGA matches up with ND better than Bama. UGA is a better passing team and that is the one area ND's D is weaker.

You're right graychef but imagine how bad it will be if they really are relevent. I remember being so damn glad when Tebow graduated...not because I hate him or Florida but because the media forced him down everyone's throat!

I don't see the outcome of the game materially changing the entitlement of either teams' fans, nor their press coverage. Nor will the number of fans cheering for either team have any effect on the outcome. So who cares? Root for your favorite team.
