I love that gif.

We kicked the absolute shite out of LSU this past year.

Where is the gif of them hoisting the crystal football after that game? Oh, that's right, it was just the LSU game...

By the way, I think that was totally orchestrated. Saban isn't the type of guy to do that. He probably did it for for recruiting purposes aimed at the Louisiana studs to make him look like a fun guy to play for. I mean, I know it was tied until late in the 3rd quarter, but it wasn't like it was the type of finish where you jump into each other's arms due to an extremely exciting finish. It had been clearly over for a while in the 4th quarter. Or maybe they genuinely thought they were gonna cruise to another NC after getting past LSU...

Pretty much did until 28 seconds left in the 4th quarter against Auburn.

Ask most Bama fans and they would say LSU. Beat the Tigers most years and that means they are typically in the driver's seat in the West. The Barners are like little gnats... they are of no use and irritating as hell. Their football team too.

DENIAL - This first stage of grieving helps us to survive the loss. In this stage, the world becomes meaningless and overwhelming. Life makes no sense. We are in a state of shock and denial. We go numb. We wonder how we can go on, if we can go on, why we should go on. We try to find a way to simply get through each day. Denial and shock help us to cope and make survival possible. Denial helps us to pace our feelings of grief. There is a grace in denial. It is nature’s way of letting in only as much as we can handle. As you accept the reality of the loss and start to ask yourself questions, you are unknowingly beginning the healing process. You are becoming stronger, and the denial is beginning to fade. But as you proceed, all the feelings you were denying begin to surface.

Last game Bama played good football against a good team. Offense was discombobulated after that game. Not sure what happened, but Doug Nussmeier was gone after the season.

If you're gonna say UF/UGA are each other's super bowl then you have to say LSU is Bamas. Also I would say OM is Vandys.

Other than that I agree with most everything else

Alabama: None. Teams like LSU, Auburn (when they're good), and Georgia will obviously require a little extra preparation and attention because they're tougher opponents. However, Alabama does not perennially put on their best game versus a specific SEC opponent.

Not one mention of Tennessee, yet we all must bend over backwards to protect that Super Bowl.

Why are you on their board?

Because we're rivals.

I don't think either side considers each other their chief rival. South carolina would rate 4th behind Florida, Auburn and Georgia Tech. Georgia will always be at LEAST 2nd behind Clemson. (Yes, I realize he is talking about rivalries inside the SEC)....but I think Florida and possibly Mizzou rank higher than Georgia as a rival for South Carolina.
