Yup, the guy wasn't a fit for that school anyways but those bottom feeder small budget schools need to just pick a guy that works well with their alumni and admin, and wants to be at that level for 20 years and build a legacy where wins are part of the program not the focus of the program.
Being in Nola you'd figure Tulane would have a better than average shot at recruiting but their academic requirements pull the rug from underneath them. They should just accept being an elitist school in the south and go recruit from private schools across the country. They'll find plenty of athletic white-guilt kids that want an 'authentic southern experience' and want to tell stories of roughing it in NOLA during college in their parent's company boardroom.

Firing a guy with Les's resume doesn't help when trying to hire a proven guy
I wouldn't be surprised if Herman doesn't wait for a better opportunity as well, expectations are so high it hurts the value of the job. Hard to follow a legend that was run outta town for losing to 3 good teams

Why is everyone so convinced this guy is a genius? Sure he was a good coordinator and he's done a nice job at Houston, I suppose. But he's hardly proven. I would put that potential hire just above Kirby Smart.

Also said the AD at Rutgers, Julie Hermann, was likely to be fired. I've never heard one good thing about her. Many Rutgers fans said she was a terrible idea when she was first hired. I mean, people said she was an awful person.

We don't give shite about jimbo one way or the other. LSU will get a big name coach regardless of what Jumbo does because of the program facilities, possible recruits that want to come to LSU. Life will go on and om, t&am, uk, sc, Ms and all the rest of you insignificant fuks will email insignificant as always.
