No matter what, I hope Texas and OU and Mike Leach don't infect the SEC with that basketball on turf, air raid offense crap in football. I like good defenses and watching defensive struggle type games...Those offenses almost kill any chance of a team having a decent defense..

I think Lincoln Riley at OU will struggle mightily in the SEC with that air raid crap. He is a disciple of Mike Leach and those Texas Tech offenses never won anything against good defenses...

Has already happened. See Mississippi State vs. LSU (2020).

2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama are 2 of the greatest offenses of all time

Have you watched SEC games since 2008?

Sark ran the best offense in the history of college football.

Texas has a leg up on Oklahoma in that department.

LSU 2019 and 2020 Bama seem to have found a way to have both. Top 3 offense with a top 20 defense wins championships in today’s game

I have nothing against those power spread, and more pro style offenses where they actually have a great running game like Bama and LSU were running.

I hate watching the Hurry up no Huddle, 80 passes/ 20 runs a game style offenses that you see throughout the Big 12 now..

Sub mizzou for OU in the SEC east this season and OU is in Atlanta come December. Barring some freak turnaround on offense by Georgia with JT like LSU had in 2019 with Joe.

OU runs the ball about 56% of the time.

DO you watch games?

Oklahoma's offense ain't Mike Leach. They want to pound you between the tackles with their running game as much as toss it around the yard.

Until they run into a good defense, then they got crap for a running game..It's Mike leach all over again...They can toss it up and down the field all day long between the 20's, but struggle to score against good D..

Now that's sometimes true. But I think that's more personal than scheme. Oklahoma WANTS to run the ball.

I have..What is your point? Im saying I don't want the SEC to change what they are doing and get infected with the BIG 12 style offenses when Texas and OU join...
