I have an old friend who always bets $100 on Florida, because hey, if Tennessee wins, he'll pay $100 for a win over the Gators. But if they lose, money. So he's probably rich by now.
My way of looking at it is win or there's a good chance Dooley gets fired.

Riggs is the midget someone mentioned early. He just hurts for 4 and 5 wide sets really.
Jenkins IMO is soft, steady but soft. His replacement is mean like Spikes but is only a FR. If (here we go with ifs) he can not get out of position he'll be OK (I didn't say great).
Morrison has the potential to be our next beast LB.

I'm not optimistic what-so-ever. There is a 7 game winning streak for a reason...UT just struggles with Florida. The chances are better than they have been, but still, I'm nervous as hell.
You're over thinking it. 2005 was a complete train wreck. Florida was just better in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

I suppose that's true. I just want to win. Sigh. I don't want to wait another year thinking "Is this finally the year?!" only to be let down again.

Honestly, that's a good trade for UF this year. Not trying to be mean but I don't want you to get Chuckie.

Should be interesting. Going in I would like our chances if it was anyone but Florida. But we have to get over the hump and actually get it done..
With that said, I'm going to be a homer and say Vols by 2 scores.

I'm going to be a Negavol and say Florida by 3. Dozen.

I'll say UF by 1 and then buy rounds of consolation beers for you to ease the frustration.

Braysus is my homeboy. We've got this.

I'm taking UT to win this game.

I understand completely. I don't see either Dooley or Muschamp reaching greatness long term, so I really think that whoever changes coaches first has the better chance to become elite again.

What about the 90's? What about Zook taking a team into Neyland and waxing us? I know that's history, but still, getting smoked by the same school just about every year for the last 20 is reason not to be optimistic.

I am not sure I see the inept offense that people are talking about on here, especially compared to last year. The running game is there and looks legit. Driskell goes 13-16 and besides holding onto the ball too long and taking sacks he didn't need to, he played really well for his first road game. If that offense shows up again on Saturday with Gillislee playing, I think it is enough to win when coupled with this defense.

That never stopped UGA fans.

Yeah, Boom has work to do but that's the nature of taking a risk on a coordinator. We won't know until it's too late.
If he does not succeed then I'm at least confident that our roster will be in much better shape than when Urban left it and we won't ever see the spread in Gainesville again. Those two things should make the transition for Bill Cowher easier.

I'll admit I didn't the game, so this is a serious question. Why did Florida have so much difficulty putting up points early on Saturday?

Brodus just announced as the starting kicker. Gators fricked.

Well, he can't be much worse than what we got, right?
