The only ones between the two fan bases bringing this up are Florida fans.

I have been. Florida fans have been the ones constantly bringing up program comparisons. Hell….you're one of the main ones.

I think the allure of Lane is that he reminds us of SOS. He's brash, an offensive guru, wears a visor, etc.
If nothing else Lane keeps it exciting. Apathy has been rampant for the Florida fanbase the past few years.

I'm just a youngster compared to others on the rant in my number of posts.
You on the other hand are an infant on the board, barely worth responding to. All puffed up and mad that you might lose your coach, calling people bitches and acting like a middle schooler. You aren't old enough to remember when Ole Miss was relevant on the national level, I barely am.
Life lesson, never say never. Gator fans said Spurrier would never leave UF for the NFL, State fans said the Mullen would never leave MSU for Florida, the list of eating crow goes on and on. Go back to playing your x-box.
