I look for Arkansas to put forth a much better showing than they did against Auburn.
That outing embarrassed them, as it should.
That outing pissed them off, as it should.
No doubt, Auburn was the better team.
Not 53 points better though.
As the late great Sporty Carpenter once said following an unexpected thrashing - 'Lightning struck the outhouse, and we were in it.'
IF we have an offensive scheme that will keep Austin Allen standing upright 90 percent of the time, it will be a good game.

Arky bounces back for a late score to win

Its quite simple UF has the countrys # 2 ranked defense and Arkie has the 106th ranked defense...so who should win? I think it will be a good game early on but UF has that stout defense and will provide the offense with plenty of good field position....and we have a very good kicker/punter.

Gotta go with big defense over big offense. Gators 23-21

How many did UGA put up 14 onOle Miss? How many did UGA score on UF 10. So UF D is 4 points better than Ole Miss. We beat the team that is going to beat UF this weekend 56-3 .

Arkansas has given up a lot of points but mostly to teams known for running fast-paced spread offense schemes - TCU, TAMU, Ole Miss, and Auburn. And then you throw in Alabama.
Florida is not going to have the same kind of success. As with every game for Florida this season, it will come down to if the defense can hold Arkansas under 20. If they can do that, I think they can come away with a win.

By that logic, I really wonder if Auburn is better than NC State- the Wolfpack should've beaten Clemson in regulation nut lost to them on the road on OT, meanwhile Clemson handled ths Barn in a "less close than it looks on paper" game in Auburn.

A lot of it depends on something neither team can control... will this unseasonably warm and pleasant weather last until the game?
One of the reasons the Hogs have been effective to close out seasons is that we are built to play in horrendous weather. If it is a typical November game here that gives Arkansas an advantage over a team that isn't used to playing in frigid and nasty conditions.
Other then that, its a matter of whether Allen is healthy and whether Robb Smith can get something vaguely resembling a defense on the field. He has been quite successful in the past when it comes to stopping pro style offenses, he's just utterly clueless when dealing with hurry up spread/option teams.
If the defense doesn't play better and Allen is to banged up to be effective then I'd have to say Florida slowly, but surely, chokes the life out of Arkansas in a field position battle.

Florida's offense kind of sucks.
They aren't the best....but Arky's D is pathetic.

Arky usually has a big offensive line so I don't know how I feel about that match-up.
You shouldn't lose a wink of sleep over our OL. They're dogshit and still juggling players trying to find 5 rag tags that can somewhat play.
Coach gave an excuse this week of wishing he'd signed more interior OL when in fact that's all the frick they've signed in the last 2 years while saying "we're building from the inside out"
If McIlwain has any bit of coaching ability this should be a 24 point win at least.

I can definitely see Arky winning a close one. Uf has a good defense but offense is not too good. Arky wins 27-21

Game will probably be a snoozer to third parties. Unless Austin Allen dies...
