I think this is sort of how the NIL was supposed to work. Let them make what they can in the free market.

They should be. Then the IRS will watch them and the schools harder and maybe then get a cap on this and under control.

The schools aren't a party to the transaction.
The IRS can't limit how much money a person can make, nor their ability to make money in the market.
