The OL was more the issue than the RB. We should be better at OL and thus better at running.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like your OLine was filled with a bunch of young guys. They should have gotten plenty of experience last year and be ready to go.

Word out of camp is our #2 back might actually be Nayquan Wright. Apparently he’s been phenomenal.
I remember the name, but not remembering the style of running. For some reason all purpose comes to mind. Smaller. fast and can catch out of the backfield? I could be getting him confused with somebody else, though and I am too lazy to look him up tonight.

Correct. Was a borderline 5 star before a knee injury his junior year. Ended up 4 star and #16 running back in his class. From Carol City.

Smaller, faster version of Perine is what we’ve been hearing. Great weapon catching out of the backfield and has shown good vision. Clearly put in the work during quarantine. He wears #6, keep an eye out for him.

Where did you see this? I heard there was an injury but Mullen didn’t clarify who it was.

Best player? Pitts
Mullen? Good coach. Sometimes over thinks it. Reminds me of spurrier but not as good
Ole miss game is an experienced team vs a team with new coach and new system. Recent disruptions should favor experienced team. I like Florida.

Biggest worries are the run game. Both sides of ball.

trask and Pitts are stars of the offense. The Defense should be very good (barring any Grantham chokes).

Mullen has done a fantastic job and now needs to take next step by beating UGA or at least getting the division.

OM game will be fairly close but UF pulls away in 4th

Why so much faith in Pitts? I glanced at his stats and they looked ok but nothing that would make me think he was your best player. He’s definitely got good size for the position. Is this coming from practice reports or? That said I wish we had someone beyond an injured Pope at TE.

Perine was a good one for you. It's a shame that he did not have a better OLine to run behind, but Mullen had not been there long enough to build his own OLine yet.

I will keep out an eye for him. I am looking forward to football getting underway, so I will probably be watching football all day on Saturdays.

Any sport fan that gave a shite before and is claiming they’re done with a sport now is full of shite. I was watching Korean baseball for shits sake. Of course I’ll ignore the bs and root against Lebron in the NBA, I’m watching the Braves, and I’m seeing if the Jags suck enough to get Trevor Lawrence. I don’t believe for a second people aren’t watching.

I’m not turning away from the live sports themselves. But I won’t watch any pregame or post game things.

Anyway UF should dominate this game. The wildcards will be how rusty teams are coming out of all of this shite and it being game 1. And also the excitement OM will have with Kiffin as HC. Seeing how that goes.

But let’s be real. UF should challenge UG this year while OM is hoping to find a way to win 5 games.

Nope. I'll probably get aggravated with the posturing and displays. I do agree that sports and politics should remain separate, and I also think any other entertainment should be separate. I hate when movies and music get political, actually.

My philosophy when it comes to movie stars and bands/singers is get political at your own risk. As long as our views agree, okay. but if you choose to get political and our views do not match up, then i will exercise my right to not go to your movie or listen to your music.

I don't watch movies or listen to music to be preached to about political ideology.

I would rather watch Korean baseball since there is no #BLM on the pitcher's mound. I don't watch pro sports anymore other than MMA. I have tuned in to college football but haven't watched past the 1st quarter, it is just a bunch of shite.

But to be honest, I have kind of been less interested since they introduced the targeting rule anyway. It's just not the same anymore. The politics are going to be the death knell though because once you start giving in to spoiled children you have ruined them.

It takes time to get the ship righted. it will come, but it will take 3-4 seasons. That said, I will watch this game with interest to see how Kiffen changes things
up for Ole Miss, and, of course, to see what Florida looks like.

It's been awhile since i have watched any pro sports, too.

Agreed. I consider athletes and sorts as entertainers, and entertainers should entertain and stop lecturing. I agree that they are risking alienating a large portion of the fan base.

I don’t disagree with a lot of what you’re saying but I just enjoy sports too much to not watch. I’d rather roll my eyes at it than not watch at all
