Florida reinstates three players suspended for Idaho game
They didn't practice, weren't included in any team functions for the week, didn't travel to the team hotel, and were generally ostracized for the entire week. For violating a team rule. It's not like they punched someone in the face and it was caught on video.

WHY do you have a team hotel.....for a HOME game?

No hotels in Athens?

Geez....since it posed in a question and not a statement...will answer your question. Anyway, ALL schools have hotels (some have only motels...but that's another story)that the teams stay for Fri/Saturday in order to concentrate on football and make sure they aren't party party on main street before a game.

The Florida AD is a joke. He is to scared to schedule a ranked team on one of the first two games of the year.

Holy shite, you can't be that stupid.....how about the last two years?? Last year we played Miami the 2nd game of the year. They had a 9-4 record and were ranked in the top10 into November. Year before last we played an 11-2 A&M team the 2nd game of the year. They finished the season #5 overall.

Damn you failed

UF's AD is such a joke that UGA current AD was formerly an assistant AD at UF.

Yep UF's AD is an idiot. UF has only won 3 NCs in football and 2 NCs in basketball since he became AD.

Seems obvious why you are not an admin, then doesn't it? Green Bay uses a green "G", first. Secondly, your AD did not schedule Texas A&M like you "intelligent" Florida fans are insinuating...the SEC scheduled it. Yet you sit here and try to act so smart.

Should have have worded his comment like that? no. But sheeesh. Show people Florida can have a little class and rise above that. Try to be civil instead of....

For the record, most people realize that Florida has one of the most successful sports programs in the country. A clear reflection of the Florida AD.

How did this thread get 6 pages? A major college football program made a joke suspension. So what? How is this any different than sitting a player for a half against a cupcake?

Let's stop going to the strip joint and being aghast that the women aren't acting like ladies.

Actually, you are, to a point, correct. Most of the suspensions come from University policy, Not Richt. However, i BELIEVE that it reflects what Richt would do anyway. not sure, though. It's kept pretty hush, hush and pretty much all that is said is that a player is suspended in accordance with Georgia policy.

Just as Florida should do what they feel is right for their University. Why anybody outside of Florida cares about this is crazy. Florida handles their policies the way Florida thinks it is best....as they should. Things seem to be going just fine there. If problems begin to pop up, then FLORIDA (nobody else) can take a look at their policy and make adjustments.

These coaches preach that they are teaching values and life lessons to their recruits. Then they try to bolster that claim by giving suspensions from game time when the public becomes aware of some type of incident. It's all a bullshite move because most suspensions are initiated for games that the players wouldn't even be needed for. But see how quickly they take 'em off suspension when a tough opponent comes up? These coaches have to win and they do what they have to for that end. But let's be honest about it, huh?
