Florida quarterback already wounded

Buster done Faulknered up his QB.

I love Gunner's lack of fear, but he runs like a fullback. I hope he doesn't end up walking with a cane too. Also, I think Bama's defense may have been told to give Gunner a pop if he did his dive move at the end of a run. They damn sure did and it should've been a 15 yard penalty. Even the Bama player thought he was about to be flagged for a late hit. But neither Herbstreit nor Fowler said a word about it. Fowler said, "Thompkins was there", as if Thompkins had made a tackle instead of body slam a player laying flat on the turf. Herbie quickly moved the discussion forward with, "Here we go with another big 3rd down", so I guess it didn't rise to the level of a "no-call".

Later in his career, Spurrier got a rep in recruiting circles for running Lattimore into the ground and killing his pro career. Buster did that to King and King , to his credit, was a tough SOB… but not too may throwing QBs made like him that can do that all season..
