You can point to one thing that has held his teams back since he became the HC and that was QB play. Guess who has been picking the QBs? We could have gotten Diego Pavia…but no he wanted to stick with literally the worst QB in the conference, Payton Thorne. If you look at the roster and depth, this season was HF’s opportunity to make a bigger stride forward and possibly be in position for CFP berth.

He would be a fool to leave Ole Miss, makes big bucks, and the cost of living is pretty low on a scale of 1-10 probably a 2. He can visit a Casino just out side of Memphis in Tunica.
He has job security even if he goes 9-4 or 8-5 a couple of years. You do that at LSU or Florida they want you GONE GONE.

Drinkwitz is Mark Stoops 2.0 from his run a few years back. Benefitted from relatively easy schedules in the East and these last 2 years.
