It would be well deserved, if it happens. They might even start a thread about Swamps burning.

That's cute. You think only UGA fans will give them hell for it.

We deserve all of the shite if we lose to a first year HC with four underclass offensive linemen starting (including two freshmen at both tackle positions) with a QB making his first start and only has 3 passes in his entire collegiate career.

Honestly, so many things are in our favor that I halfway kind of expect to lose this game.

They are the most obsessed with the Gators right now.

Some of us aren't bandwagon fans and have been here for a whole lot of low points already.

It's a rivalry game and the underdog has won 7/8 and hates the favorite with a passion. Anyone who bets on Florida and gives up 7.5 points is a homer or won't be gambling very long.

Was talking with my buddy this morning who is a Gator fan, and I honestly couldn't see a scenario where UF loses. I couldn't even find a way for Miami to keep it close. UF has them beat in coaching, talent, and returning starters. UF would just have to completely crap the bed to lose this one

No excuses.

4 underclassmen on the offensive line.
Freshman QB.
Undersized offense in general.
Look at some of the numbers their defense gave up rushing last year. (To teams like UNC.)
New HC.
Dan Enos has had playcalling duties for three years (Arkansas) in D1 football.
Mullen has a 10 year HC advantage, plus one year at Florida.

There is no way we should drop this game. "Rivalry" to a team we don't regularly play is a terrible excuse and I, for one, will have lost a lot of faith in Dan Mullen if he drops this game. Essentially a game for the state.

If we want to win championships, it starts by doing what's expected of us + more.

I bet UF -6.5. Plus UF -4 first half. I’m a homer but a responsible gambler (if that exists). Gators return more experience at most every position. QB is the most important. Franks has been in this situation many times. He has improved with each snap under Mullen. People kill Franks at every turn (I have) but look at his progression the last 2 years. He was solid last year and can only get better under Mullen.

I really don’t think this game is going to be close. How are they going to score? I see us wearing them down into the 2nd half and winning by at least 2 TDS.

But hell, it’s football. Anything can happen. We could get blown out. I don’t expect it but if we do, life will still go on.

To keep it close, I think Florida would need to have very bad turnovers and make a lot of penalties or something along those lines. I don't think Miami is going to naturally move the ball, but they could get a lot of help that way.

We outscored our last three P5 opponents in the 4th quarter last year 58 - 17. All I can hope is that we don't turn the ball over and don't throw punches to get guys ejected or something similar.

I don't consider it a stretch to think that Miami's front 7 could absolutely dominate our offense. If they get a big play here and there, easy upset victory. Also I think Miami is as good as Mizzou who seems to have no problem kicking our arse on the reg.

Miami went 0 - 6 against P5 teams with winning records and still went 7 - 6.

Also, Miami would lose their shite against a Drew Lock Missouri as well, especially if they had to play LSU, @MSST and Georgia instead of their shite schedule.

We played 4 top ten teams (Kentucky, Georgia, LSU, Michigan) and went 10 - 3.

They played the 72nd SOS.

We played the 14th.

I honestly can't wait to beat the frick out of Miami so you guys can stop hyping them.
