I don't see how anyone would be confident about this game. On paper, is strength vs strength, weakness vs weakness.
I give LSU the edge because they are at home, but this game can have any result except a LSU being blow out, or a low scoring affair like last year.

I made a post this weekend about this matchup being intriguing for that reason.
If we keep UF to 21 or below, I like LSU's chances...a lot.

How many BCS opponents have you held below 21 points this year?
UF hasn't let an SEC opponent get more than 20 points since 2011.

Looking forward to this matchup.
I like our Defense but I saw a LOT of bad stuff against Arky. If Arky would have caught the ball, they probably would have kept the game close.
And again, our offense does what it needs to do to win. Nothing more, nothing less. Kind of irritating but I can't complain about the results.

God, that sounds exactly like LSU the past five years. Not pretty, not really efficient, but with a top 10 defense, it's enough. The straw that broke the camel's back for most that were still on board after 1/9, was the UF game last year and the PUTRID play calling.

Have you even watched LSU this year or bothered to even read stats? This game will feature a great Defense vs a great Offense. Unlike last year where there were two good defenses and crappy offenses. I don't think LSU should expect to score 40+ plus on Florida but you sure as hell shouldn't be counting on holding us under 14. Thats just wishful thinking, man.
Realisticly I think both teams end up in the thirties or one in the thirties and the other in the high twenties. Special teams and turnovers will be the difference.

on another thread, i said 28-24. Good point on STs as well. UF's kicking and punting has not been great this year.
