Ahh, the memories of the Porpoise. Back in the late 80's At half time the student section would empty and run like mad across the street for quarter shots at the porpoise. Then stagger back for the second half. the place was a complete zoo for about 25 minutes.

I love the Porpoise, but the old CJ's on Archer was my jam. Nothing but a long bar on the left and wooden picnic tables against the wall on the right. The floors had drains and they would spray it down every night after it was over. You had better dress appropriately at night because you are going to get some beer spilled, thrown, dropped on you in some fashion. Tuesdays were 10 oz quarter beer nights. if you had 20 bucks you were gonna have a good time.
