This. There is no doubt he is a great coach and develops talent. He might be the best pure coach in the game. But when you encourage/require 25 guys to be on the rail doing softball shite when its a close game and allow them to sit with their backs to the bench when you are getting your arse handed to you, it is more than just gamesmanship.
He seems to have taken it down a notch since 2022 and I applaud him for that. He is a great coach who would be even better imo if he cut some of the in-game bullshite.

Why was he cussing out players on the other team before the game? He has issues that he needs to deal with. No excuses for that type of behavior.

Tony has never said anything bad about anyone yet people in this chat relentlessly say terrible things about him. Its just cause he is a great coach and that makes people uncomfortable. I invite anyone to find proof of his "bad character" when the game isn't happening.

No lies detected. Admittedly Tony V has mellowed out a good bit compared to the first few years at UT. I think losing to ND to miss Omaha after such a great season humbled him because he hasn't really been the same guy since. He still has his moments but he's nowhere near as over the top as he used to be, he matured a lot.
