Hell of a first half. UF was up 11. We go into half with UK up 10.

Butler is a dog! Pride in defense is impressive.

What an incredible first half. Both teams playing well.

Not sure we have enough bigs to close this out but this has been a fun SEC Opener

Yeah don't want to leave a lot at the line.

Like the way we finished the half though. Just really got after it after getting punked early on.

If we had a reasonably good big we’d be amazing

Very sloppy end to the first half after the strong start. Too many quick threes from Martin and Richard, too many open threes for Brea, too many turnovers leading to runouts.

It is pretty amazing that this UK team is completely built from scratch. That's the NIL era I guess

Pope did a pretty good job constructing a roster with balance despite having to go from scratch as well.

Like others have said, we're missing that really strong big (Carr can show flashes) but the only guy he had coming in was Perry committed.

Yep but man I love this new Era. Love Pope and that will never change and I can't wait to see what he can do roster construction wise in a year or two. Go cats!

Cal left, took 3 with him and the rest went elsewhere. Don't blame them really, Pope was still unproven although he had BYU ranked last year.

We went on 2 big runs: 16-0 and 10-0.

The only one I wish we had back was Reed Sheppard

Yea it was a weird situation with Cal leaving undoubtedly, and Pope should be successful. UK's offense is always going to be elite with him at the helm

Would like to see us to stay aggressive defensively in the 2nd half. Really got some good transition looks.

I know UK has a ton more resources to pour into Basketball than LSU, but the clowns on Tiger rant were ok with McMahon going 2-16 in year 1 because they think it takes 2-3 years to build a team.

Simply not the case in todays world with NIL and the portal

I didn't see much contact there on that foul.
