Noise problem.. Tell them you need a 601 on your lines.. If you're at a single dwelling, request an RG-11 drop.. If that fails, you can buy a house amplifier and run it through an -7db splitter to up your signal.. Shoot for a -4 to -5 DB modem strength. They work best at that level.
