Tua and Waddle were the only two things any good about that offense or staff.

Waddle is a player. Tua was a very good college quarterback who hasn't shown the ability to process fast enough to succeed in the NFL. He'll get another chance to prove himself under a new coach.

If every team was equal then sure. I doubt any QB’s were taking those lions teams anywhere. Still, let’s hear the 10 better QB’s.

Here's 8/9 guys I'd take over Stafford

Lamar
Mahomes
Wilson
Burrow
Brady
Herbert
Rodgers
Dak
Watson (Count him or not)

Well he's only been in the NFL for 20 years and he FINALLY wins a playoff game

I’m not saying that Stafford is elite, but I’m not taking Dak over him. Stafford would instantly be the best QB in the NFC East. Hell, he might be the best in the NFC west right now.

He was with the lions. If they were in Detroit, they’d get so much more shite. That franchise has never won, and frankly, may never win.

Tua is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL.

Nah. He's actually not though.

He's completing 56.5% of his throws that are thrown 5+ yards downfield in his NFL career, that is 28th among 37 qualifying QBs over the last 2 years.

Now, when he's throwing 12 feet downfield or closer, he's deadly, completing 78%!

Thats my point. His group is Dak, Kyler, and Russell Wilson as opposed to Rodgers, Brady, and Mahomes

I love the people talking shite about Stafford for not winning a playoff game with the fricking Lions, a franchise so shitty they haven't won a playoff game since Stafford was 2 years old, and has only won that single playoff game since the NFL-AFL merger.

Agreed. It makes what Burrow did for a similar franchise even more special.

and what has Miami won in these past several years?

Just want to make sure I understand your double standard

Miami has won a Super Bowl. They have won playoff games. When Ricky Williams was there they were a double digit win team.

The dolphins are not near the colossal frick ups that the browns and the lions have been. If the dolphins suck now it’s because they draft oft injured, one read quarterbacks way too high in the first round.

Waddle looks like he could be a dude. Tua does not. He just doesn’t seem to get it like Mac Jones, or Burrow, or Herbert do.

Agree with Dak and Kyler being together, but Russell Wilson is light years better than either one of those. He may not be in the Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers group, but he's in the next tier, and certainly before Stafford.

Double standard? We're talking about the Lions, the only franchise that existed prior to the NFL-AFL merger to have never played in the Super Bowl.

The Dolphins have won 5 playoff games since the Lions last won one, and I shouldn't even need to even mention that whole New England Patriots dynasty that existed inside the Dolphins' division from 2001-2019.

I don't think you appreciate how bad the Lions always have been. That franchise is so bad they made one of the greatest RBs in NFL history and one of the greatest NFL WRs in my lifetime retire early instead of continuing to play for Detroit.

This is true and an argument that is really hard to get past.
