More or less. But I'm not going in for "Journalism" exactly.

But I do know enough that if I DID go into Journalism, it isn't a dieing profession.

Doesn't Ole Miss have that guy they call Mr. Magazine working in the journalism department? Supposedly he can hook you up with all kinds of jobs from what I was told by several friends.

Dr. Husni

Dude's awesome. He was our Dean of Journalism back when it was just a department. It's a Board of Dean's now. And yes....he has shite tons of connections.

Well you should have, since it truly is the finest institution, aside from South Panola, in our wonderful state.

no shite. it's University of Mississippi Medical Center. Only ole miss douche bags would say, I'm going to ole miss medical school. Everyone I've ever known refers to it as Mississippi Med Center. Not ole miss medical school.

Unless somehting has changed in the last 10 years.
Ole Miss is an Oxford reference. I worked at UMMC for 30 years. It is very definitely referred to as:
The University of Mississippi School of Medicine
The University of Mississippi School of Dentistry
The University of Mississippi School of Health Related Professions.
Plus the Chancellor of Ole Miss was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Dean, School of Medicine. My Christmas cards came from Porter Fortune, Gerald Turner, etc., etc. There was never any doubt in my mind who I worked for. They just don't use the term Ole Miss at the Jackson campus.

I left the part out though that some of the best doctors I worked with were State under graduates.
