A week one win over Oregon means very little compared to beating both LSU and Bama mid season.

As for UGA fans claiming that SC win as a legit ranked opponent.... LMFAO. Delusional isn't even the word. SC is terrible and is only ranked because they played Kentucky without Levis.

I get your reasoning, but I think Oregon has shown they are at least a pretty good team. had they fallen apart, I would agree with you.

That is a silly take. I mean, they have done well this year. People assume they are not good based off their past history. But UT's past history isn't sparkling, either.

The only way to tell if a team is good or not is to base it off the finished product. South Carolina looks good to this point, and at this point they are ranked. You can't go through the rankings and discount teams based off personal opinions.

You should know by now that I try to be fair and not troll.

ETA
I would add that looking at South Carolina's remaining schedule they have a shot at winning 2-3 more games. If they do that, they will (probably)finish in the top 25.

Tennessee.

UGA ranking is strictly based upon last year.

Georgia is the defending champs and has the best win of any team by far

I assume you mean Oregon? They beat only one ranked team - the #12 team in the country - by 15 points and let almost every other team on their bullshite schedule score 20 or more points. LSU for crying out loud beat the #7 team in the country by 25. That alone is a better win than yalls win over Oregon. Lots of other ranked teams have better wins than Georgia so far as well.

Defending champs? Yes.
Best win of any team by far? That’s laughable.

I honestly don’t know who I want to win more - Tennessee to shut up Georgia fans or Georgia to shut up Tennessee fans. I think Tennessee deserves it more so I lean toward them.

As a VOLS fan, I think it has to be Georgia first and then UT or OSU. You have to give the defending champs the nod until or if they lose a game.

SC is not that good man.

So you think they beat Kentucky with Levis in there? No way.

Vols will hang 60 plus on SC.

I'm going to agree with this, at least for RANKING.

Pretend a second that it's the old 2-team BCS format... you really should start with defending champ @ #1, and try to figure out the team to play and dethrone them.

Tennessee will get their chance in a couple weeks, and if they win, they become the strong #1.

Well if UGA covers 24, we will be #1. The only common opponent would be UF.

UT won 38-33

It’s really that simple.

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan
4. Clemson

This will be the first CFP order.

Mine would be (assuming GA wins):

1. GA 8-0; 2-0 VS. TOP 10; 2-0 VS TOP 30
2. Ohio State 8-0; 0-0 VS TOP 10; 3-0 VS TOP 30
3. Tennessee 7-1; 1-1 vs top 10; 2-1 vs top 30
4. Oklahoma State 7-1; 0-0 VS TOP 10; 5-1 VS TOP 30

Based on your opinion. Are they top 10? no. Are they top 15? No.
Are they top 25? I think so. Top 25 teams historically can show up with 4 losses and MAYBE 5.

I doubt 60. But if you do good for you. But Tennessee is a really good team. Legit top 5-10 and maybe even better.

While Bama is a better team, you can argue that the win over Oregon is "better".

Basically saying 46 point win over #8 at a neutral site > 3 point win over #6 at home.

Yes. UGA's home field is in Athens.

Possibly. UGA hung 48 on them on the road.

The difference is we gave up 7 points (to our 3rd string in the 4th quarter)

UT will probably give up 28-35 or so and have a smaller margin than UGA did.

Both sides of the ball count in football. It's not just who's offense scores more.
