Clemson plays 2 in the top 25 (best team atm) while LSU plays 5 in the top 16. No wonder why Clemson always makes the playoffs while teams like uga, LSU, and Aub have to show up every week. We lose and we're out. I would love to see Clemson play a SEC schedule and see if they go unscathed. Most SEC schools could go undefeated with Clemson schedule. And Clemson almost loses to Scrubs each year

Water is wet.

Either SC or A&M or both are going to have to knock off the sheep humping sister bangers this season.

SC should probably worry about not losing to Virginia by 40 before worrying about clemson.

Ole Miss too high.

Thanks, Coach Luke, for that one vote.

Matt Luke doesn’t vote in it.

Hugh Freeze does though.

it tells the list of coaches that get to vote and not all of them do get a vote. However, Hugh Freeze is a voter and we all know it was him that voted for Ole Miss. Jeremy Pruitt is also a voter and we all know he voted for Tennessee

I'm okay with kicking Tennessee out and putting you guys in. Move Auburn to the East and Miz to the West.

Would Clemson's schedule be harder if they played in the SEC? Hell yes!

Could Clemson go "unscathed" in the SEC? Well, Bama went unscathed in the SEC last year, and we saw what happened in the NCG, so, yeah I think they could.

Little surprised that Mizzou is not in the Top 25.

they should be, ahead of NW anyway...

would love to see the complete list with points & "others receiving votes"

same could be said for MS State; especially with all the hype we've been seeing

You're totally missing the point of what playing a harder schedule means.

The impression is that Clemson gets to skate through their season and doesn't risk injury as much as Bama does. Thus being more rested and in better health at the end of the year. But with your level of recruiting currently, I'm not sure it would matter.

How so? I was addressing the assertion that Clemson could not go unscathed in the SEC. Other than the game with UGA in the SECCG, Bama pretty much dominated all other opponents last year, and in turn got dominated themselves in the championship game with Clemson. If you are talking about the toll a tougher schedule takes on teams, etc., then it's you who've missed the point.

We never are. Then we’ll beat their 6th, 11th and 16th ranked team and they’ll be like “where did State come from?” Happens every year. Most coaches don’t know any more than dumbass journalists about any other teams.
